FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
El Oma Lufo: Organic Coconut Farm Turned Jungle Resort in South Cotobato, Mindanao
Tupi, South Cotobato, Mindanao - El Oma Lufo, an organic coconut farm turned jungle resort, has officially been licensed under agritourism and glamping/camping. Spread across three hectares / 7.5 acres in the T'Boli region of South Cotobato, Mindanao, Philippines, the resort and farm is now open for business.
After two years of development, the resort began operating on January 1, 2023. Owned and operated by Marissa Kronick, a local indigenous woman from the T'Boli/Blaan tribe, the resort has gained global attention for its efforts in ecotourism, sustainable farming, adventure tours, and cultural preservation.
The five-star rated jungle resort offers guests a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of South Cotobato, with accommodations that are designed to blend seamlessly with the jungle surroundings. Guests can enjoy a variety of adventure tours, including hiking, bird watching, and waterfall treks, all while learning about the indigenous culture and traditions of the T'Boli and Blaan tribes.
El Oma Lufo's commitment to sustainable tourism and indigenous cultural preservation is a beacon of hope for a world that is increasingly seeking responsible and sustainable tourism. The resort's jungle setting offers guests an opportunity to disconnect from the stress of everyday life and reconnect with nature and themselves.
Despite their early successes, El Oma Lufo's biggest challenge comes from foreign embassies who have warned people about traveling to Mindanao for years. Mindanao is not only safe for travel but boasts some of the safest cities in the Philippines for both Filipinos and foreign travelers. In less than two months, El Oma Lufo has achieved sustainability after locals began to flock to social media about the new opening.
We invite you to experience El Oma Lufo's unique blend of organic farming, responsible tourism, and adventure tours in the heart of the jungle. Help us support the local community and experience the beauty and culture of South Cotobato, Mindanao.
